 "You have the power You wear the crown From the pinnacle To the pit" - Ghost- It was agreed to be just a small evening walk. Nothing major. Just some fresh air with autumn colors. Nice possibility to go check those two small nameless canyons next to Hirviäkuru canyon, where we have been so many times. It turn out to be an unexpected adventure. For three hours we explored those canyons, those, which let you expect nothing on the map. Good reminder for us, how the smallest things, can turn out to be a mind blowing experiences. The autumn colors, or ruska as it is called in Finland, was on it's best. The whole forest in flaming red and orange. Autumn is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. In these times of isolation and uncertainty, the social contacts we can have, come more valuable. I feel, that one can't survive without any. Sure you can phone your sister the other end of the country, or Whatsapp your friends around the globe. But it can't give the same, as a shared cup of tea. As many other, I have minimized my social contacts. And I have come more grateful for them. And for, that it is still possible for us to go outside to share that cup of tea. And laugh away all the agony of the world situation. This time me and my most dear French friend went to explore Hirviäkuru canyon at Pittiövaara hill.
